Apple ramps up India push as key vendors expand investments, boost local production

Apple’s India vendors are significantly bolstering their local presence as the iPhone maker steps up the diversification of its supply chain beyond China, said people with knowledge of the matter. Some are expanding operations, others have begun production trials while still more have started exporting from their new facilities, they said.
