Apple’s Digital ID launches for US travelers: What it is, how to set it up, and where you can use it
Apple is making airport check-ins simpler with its new Digital ID feature, which lets travelers store and present their US passport or eligible driver’s license directly from their iPhone or Apple Watch.
Launched Wednesday, November 12 the Digital ID allows users to digitize their passport or driver’s license information in the Apple Wallet to offer a faster and more secure way to verify identity at TSA checkpoints.
