AI adoption in India is 57% — and we lead it: IT Minister Kharge on Karnataka’s next tech chapter
Bengaluru: With a sharper focus on driving deep-tech research and innovation, the Karnataka government plans to announce new IT and startup policies to maintain its leadership in India’s tech ecosystem.
“The adoption of AI has been phenomenal. We have never seen a technology scale this fast — while the internet took around 13 years to reach 800 million users, OpenAI achieved the same milestone in just three years. India already has a 57 per cent AI adoption rate, and as the country’s tech capital, we lead this transformation.
