Beckn Labs partners Google to launch Beckn Onix to improve digital public infrastructure development

Beckn Labs has partnered with Google Cloud to launch Beckn Onix, a new open-source app designed to accelerate the development and adoption of Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) built with the Beckn Protocol. This initiative was announced in advance of the Global DPI Summit 2025. Beckn Onix aims to promote inclusive growth for individuals and communities across various population-scale sectors, including agriculture, healthcare, skilling, energy, tourism, and mobility. The tool addresses technical complexities faced by governments and organisations when connecting diverse, existing IT systems to new open network protocols. With Beckn Onix, custom-built integrations, which are often expensive and difficult to maintain and scale, can be avoided. This will allow for a more streamlined approach to building open networks.=
