BSNL, Viasat team up for commercial UAV services, advance skills development

NEW DELHI: State-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and Viasat India have expanded their collaboration in the satellite communication (satcom) domain. The two companies would commercialise unmanned aerial Vehicle (UAV) solutions, and promote skill development and industry readiness in the field of satellite communication (satcom) and emerging technologies.

“Viasat and BSNL will also collaborate on commercialising Viasat’s Velaris uncrewed air solutions for the Indian market,” the US-based company in a statement said.
