Elon Musk’s xAI may have hired two researchers from Nvidia to build these new AI models

Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence (AI) startup, xAI, is hiring specialists to boost the development of “world models.” These are next-generation AI systems which are designed to understand and navigate physical environments. The San Francisco-based startup has hired two AI researchers from Nvidia to accelerate this effort. The move positions xAI alongside major rivals like Meta and Google in the race for these advanced systems.

According to a report by The Financial Times, the two researchers joining xAI are Zeeshan Patel and Ethan He, both of whom have experience in world models from their tenure at Nvidia.
