Infosys challenges 415-crore ITC refund notice

BENGALURU: Infosys filed a writ petition before the Karnataka high court challenging the legitimacy of the show cause notice issued by the Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI) for Rs 415 crore over alleged ineligible input tax credit (ITC) refunds.

In May, DGGI sought details regarding the company’s GST refund claims. Infosys provided all relevant information and held discussions with DGGI officials on the matter. In July, DGGI issued a pre-show cause notice.
