Make in India: HFCL wins deal to deploy IP/MPLS routers for Vodafone Idea’s 5G network
NEW DELHI: HFCL has won a commercial deal from Vodafone Idea (Vi) for supplying IP/MPLS routers for the telecom carrier’s fifth-generation (5G) network. With this, the homebred vendor joins multinational rivals that also supply routers to Vi in several circles.
“HFCL is partnering with Vodafone Idea under a commercial network upgradation initiative aimed at expanding capacity and strengthening readiness for 5G and beyond,” an HFCL spokesperson exclusively told ETTelecom.
