Touring Capital closes inaugural $330 million fund to back AI-driven software startups

Touring Capital, an early-stage fund founded by veteran investors of SoftBank and Microsoft, announced the close of its first venture fund at $330 million, which was oversubscribed as of late September 2025.

The fund was founded by Nagraj Kashyap, Priya Saiprasad, and Samir Kumar in 2023. Kumar, general partner at Touring, was with Microsoft’s M12 fund. He was also at Qualcomm Ventures, where he met Kashyap. The latter and Saiprasad worked together at SoftBank Vision Fund II.
