Now, after this trend, another AI-powered fashion trend is sweeping social media platform Instagram. Called as the ‘Banana AI Saree’ trend, users are now turning their ordinary selfies into dramatic 90s Bollywood-style portraits using Google’s Gemini Nano Banana image editing tool. The viral edits doing the rounds of the internet consists of chiffon sarees floating in the wind, grainy textures, and warm golden-hour lighting. The images are crafted with the help of AI prompts. The popular styles include translucent polka-dot designs, black party-wear sarees and soft floral accents which were popular in the 90s.
