Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong recently revealed that 40% of the daily code at the cryptocurrency company is written using artificial intelligence (AI). Sharing a post on microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter), Armstrong said that he wants to get it to nearly 50% by October this year. His post reflects a broader industry trend where tech giants like Microsoft and Google reported 30% and 25% AI-generated code respectively.

“~40% of daily code written at Coinbase is AI-generated. I want to get it to >50% by October,” he wrote in the post.
