‘Cyber Warriors’ inducted across Thane police stations to aid investigations

Thane: In a bid to fast-track cybercrime investigations, the Thane city police commissionerate has inducted a new cadre of ‘Cyber Warriors’ across all police stations. This is possibly the first time in Maharashtra that such an initiative has been taken up.

The initiative, conceptualised by commissioner of police Ashutosh Dumbre, comes after the setting up of cyber cells in every police station and the operationalisation of the long-pending cyber police station building in Thane.
