BSNL net loss narrows on-year to ₹1,049 crore in Q1FY26, operating cash flow rises

NEW DELHI: State-controlled telecom carrier Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) narrowed its net loss by nearly 32% year-on-year to nearly ₹1,049 crore in the April-June quarter of FY26 (Q1FY26). It had reported a net loss of ₹1,542 crore in Q1FY25.
On a sequential basis, however, the public sector telco swung into a net loss. It had posted a net profit of ₹280 crore and ₹262 crore in the March and December quarters of FY25, respectively.
