Vodafone Idea shares jump over 8% even as loss widens YoY in Q1
Vodafone Idea shares jumped 8.6 % to their day’s high of ₹6.68 on the BSE on Monday, August 18, even after the telecom operator reported a wider loss for the June quarter. The company posted a net loss of ₹6,608 crore in Q1FY25, compared to ₹6,432 crore in the same quarter last year.
Revenue from operations, however, rose 5% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹11,023 crore from ₹10,508 crore in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
