OpenAI has announced new updates to ChatGPT. Sharing a post on X (formerly Twitter), CEO Sam Altman writes that users can now choose between ‘Auto’, ‘Fast’, and ‘Thinking’ for GPT-5. He said that while most users are expected to use the Auto mode, the added control could be useful for certain tasks. “You can now choose between “Auto”, “Fast”, and “Thinking” for GPT-5. Most users will want Auto, but the additional control will be useful for some people,” Altman wrote in the post.
