‘I am a fool’ says Google’s AI chatbot: Executive confirms fix coming soon, ‘Gemini is not…’

Google says it is working on a fix for a strange glitch in its AI chatbot – Gemini which made it post self-critical messages while trying to solve problems. Several users posted screenshots on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) that show Gemini calling itself a “failure” and a “disgrace”. Acknowledging the issue, Logan Kilpatrick, group project manager at Google DeepMind, said the problem was just a technical loop. “This is an annoying infinite looping bug we are working to fix! Gemini is not having that bad of a day,” Kilpatrick wrote on X.
