Reliance Jio emerges as world’s largest telco with 488 mn subscribers: RIL’s Mukesh Ambani

NEW DELHI: Reliance Jio has emerged as the world’s largest telecom operator with over 480 million subscribers, including 191 million users on its fifth-generation (5G) network. It is also working with the Central government on the INDIAai initiative, and investing in satellite communications (satcom) as well as 6G technologies to be future-ready.

‘Jio emerged as the world’s largest data network with 488 million users, including 191 million on 5G,’ Ambani said in RIL’s annual report for FY25, released on Thursday.
