Apple to make all iPhone, watch cover glass in Kentucky as part of additional $100 billion investment in USA

Tech giant Apple is set for a major expansion with Corning Inc. in Kentucky with a $2.5 billion deal to manufacture iPhone and Apple Watch cover glass. This marks the first time that 100 per cent of the cover glass on these Apple devices will be manufactured in the US. Corning’s manufacturing facility in Kentucky will be at the centre of this development, increasing the manufacturing workforce by at least 50% as per Apple.
