    Sony Pictures Networks India’s Gaurav Banerjee appointed BARC India chairman

    Gaurav Banerjee, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI), has been appointed Chairman of the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India.

    The appointment, effective immediately, was announced at BARC India’s board meeting on August 1. He succeeds Shashi Sinha, Executive Chairman of IPG Mediabrands India, who held the position for over three years.
