HCLTech Q1 Results: Attrition unchanged at 12.8%, headcount slips QoQ

HCLTech posted a total employee headcount of 2,23,151 in the first quarter of the financial year 2026. The company’s employee headcount increased by just 3,750 in a year as its total employee count in the corresponding quarter of the financial year 2025 was 2,19,401.

Furthermore, on a quarter-on-quarter basis, the company’s total employee headcount has seen a decrease in employee strength. The company reduced 269 employees as it employed 2,23,420 people in Q42025.
