Venture capital funding inches up to $4.9 billion in H1 2025
Venture capital funding in Indian startups showed modest signs of recovery in the first half of 2025, with the total deal value rising 9% year on year to $4.95 billion across 410 deals, according to data from analytics platform Venture Intelligence.
Startups had secured around $4.54 billion across 418 deals in the first half of 2024, indicating a slight dip in deal activity or the number of transactions.
