Apple is distributing $95 million privacy settlement fund: How to submit claims, eligibility, last date and more
Apple is set to distribute a $95 million settlement fund as part of a class-action lawsuit that alleged its Siri digital assistant activated and recorded sensitive, private conversations without users’ consent or knowledge, a report has said. The tech giant agreed to settle the case back in January.
According to a report in The Verge, individuals who owned eligible Apple devices over a specific period and believe they were affected by this alleged issue can submit claims to receive a portion – up to $100 – of the settlement money.
