Amazon unveils Nova Premier, its most powerful AI model designed for complex tasks

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced the launch of Nova Premier, its most advanced and capable artificial intelligence model to date. Amazon claims that Nova Premier is designed to manage highly complex tasks and it also serves as a teacher for model distillation. “Today we’re expanding the Amazon Nova family of foundation models announced at AWS re:Invent with the general availability of Amazon Nova Premier, our most capable model for complex tasks and teacher for model distillation,” said the company. The newly launched Nova Premier joins the existing Amazon Nova understanding models available in Amazon Bedrock.
