India’s $280 billion software services industry is likely to be adversely hit by the Trump administration’s levy of reciprocal tariffs. With possible inflationary pressures on US companies expected to curtail the pace of discretionary technology adoption, the increased tariffs could dent growth of the industry which currently garners about half of its revenues from America.
