Apple may soon see an executive-level reshuffle and the reason is Siri

Apple may soon see an executive-level reshuffle — and the reason may be Siri. This comes shortly after Apple delayed the personalised Siri features that it previewed at WWDC last year. According to a report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Vision Pro chief Mike Rockwell is expected to take over the Siri team at the company. Until now, the Siri team was led by Apple’s artificial intelligence chief John Giannandrea. Apple CEO Tim Cook has apparently “lost confidence” in Giannandrea’s ability to “execute on product development,” the report noted. However, Giannandrea will remain at the company for now to oversee artificial intelligence research and development in general.

As per the report, Vision Pro hardware engineer Paul Meade will take over Apple’s spatial computing efforts from Rockwell. This will allow Rockwell to devote his full attention to Siri, the report claimed.
