Oracle to offer cloud and AI services to Singapore military

Oracle has announced a partnership with Singapore’s Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) to deliver advanced cloud computing and artificial intelligence (AI) services to the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF). This marks Oracle’s first major defense-related deal in Southeast Asia.

Under the agreement, Oracle will provide an air-gapped cloud infrastructure, ensuring that the system is entirely disconnected from the internet and linked only to classified networks via encrypted devices. This isolated cloud environment will enhance the SAF’s Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) functions, offering increased scalability, security, and performance.
