Chinese regulators issue requirements for the labeling of AI-generated content

Multiple Chinese government departments said on Friday that they have issued requirements for the labeling of artificial intelligence (AI) content, which will come into effect on September 1, 2025, a move they said would help “promote the healthy development of artificial intelligence”.
