Samsung is searching for a new head of North American public affairs with connections to President Donald Trump’s administration and the Republican Party, according to a South Korean newspaper report published Friday, Match 7.
The technology giant is looking to replace current public affairs chief Mark Lippert, who is expected to resign, DongA Ilbo reported, citing unnamed industry sources. Lippert, who served as US ambassador to South Korea during the Obama administration, was hired by Samsung in 2022 while former President Joe Biden was in office.
