Nvidia and Broadcom may be testing Intel’s new advanced chip manufacturing process

Nvidia and Broadcom are reportedly conducting manufacturing tests with Intel. This move shows early confidence of other companies in Intel’s advanced production technology and may also signal a major shift in the chipmaking landscape.

A report by the news agency Reuters citing two sources familiar with the matter claimed that these tests, which involve Intel’s advanced 18A manufacturing process, may lead to significant manufacturing contracts for Intel and even provide a substantial boost to the US-based chip major’s struggling foundry business.
