5G may boost APAC mobile service revenue to $346 bn by 2029: Report

NEW DELHI: The mobile communications service revenue in the Asia Pacific (APAC) may grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 2.8%, from $301.7 billion in 2024 to $346.1 billion by 2029, driven by a growth in fifth-generation or 5G takeup, rise in mobile subscriptions, and government-backed programs, according to the latest report released by GlobalData on Monday.
