Maha Kumbh 2025: Ericsson says enabled Jio 5G network to handle 400 mn data service requests at peak

NEW DELHI: Swedish telecom gear maker Ericsson said on Thursday that it helped Reliance Jio’s 5G standalone (SA) network to handle 20 million voice and 400 million data service requests during one of the peak days in the recently concluded Maha Kumbh 2025.
