OneWeb pushes for DoT nod to link up & launch satellite broadband

Kolkata: Bharti-backed Eutelsat OneWeb is seeking fast-track approval from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) for deploying its twin earth station gateways in India to connect with its low-earth orbit (LEO) global satellite constellation and delivering broadband-from-space services to customers in South Asian countries, excluding Pakistan and China.
