Microsoft’s AI chief Mustafa Suleyman poaches three key researchers from Google’s AI unit that he once co-founded

Microsoft has secured three prominent researchers from Google DeepMind, strengthening its artificial intelligence capabilities as competition intensifies between tech giants. Mustafa Suleyman, Microsoft’s head of AI, announced the hiring of Marco Tagliasacchi and Zalán Borsos, the architects behind DeepMind’s podcast-generating “Audio Overviews” feature, along with vision specialist Matthias Minderer.
