This AI company backed by Amazon and Google has banned the use of AI tools in hiring

Anthropic, the developer of the AI assistant Claude backed by the likes of Amazon and Google, now requires job applicants to certify they won’t use AI tools when applying for positions at the company. The policy applies to nearly all of Anthropic’s approximately 150 current job openings, spanning roles from software engineering to sales and communications.

“While we encourage people to use AI systems during their role to help them work faster and more effectively, please do not use AI assistants during the application process,” states the company’s application form.
