NTT DATA eyes $2 billion revenue by 2027 from new AI tool-related business

Digital business and IT services firm NTT DATA on Tuesday launched its new artificial intelligence tool, which it says can generate a business revenue of about $2 billion by 2027.

The tool is a crucial pillar of the company’s strategy to accelerate the adoption of Generative AI, with an “estimated $2 billion in revenue” that it aims to achieve from Smart AI Agent-related business by 2027, NTT DATA said.

The Smart AI Agent will first be rolled out to the US, China, and several European countries, with a broader global availability.

The Smart AI Agent autonomously extracts, organises, and executes tasks in response to user instructions, and complements the existing workforces, while streamlining time-consuming processes.

According to NTT DATA, the toll is already creating an impact in key sectors including DevOps data analysis efficiency in the automotive industry, improving regulatory reporting processes for the banking sector, and is optimising the marketing cycle for a major gas manufacturer.

NTT DATA’s Smart AI Agent solution includes consulting, implementation, and ongoing support, ensuring seamless integration across businesses. The company provides infrastructure for both public and private environments to ensure confidentiality and compliance.
