NVIDIA confirms it’s new app is slowing down games, but there’s a quick fix

NVIDIA recently replaced its more than a decade-old GeForce Experience and Control Panel app with a new modern-looking app called ‘NVIDIA’, claiming that it is 50 per cent more responsive than its predecessor.

However, a few days after gamers transitioned to the new NVIDIA app, many started complaining about performance drops and stutters in some games. As it turns out, NVIDIA has confirmed that a bug with its app is causing the issue. “We are aware of a reported performance issue related to Game Filters and are actively looking into it,” NVIDIA said on its official support forum.
