Elon Musk reacts to an old video of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman saying he has “no equity” in the company

The ongoing saga between Elon Musk and Sam Altman-led OpenAI took another turn as Musk seemingly threw shade at Altman’s old video. The two AI pioneers, once collaborators at OpenAI, have been locked in a public dispute over the company’s direction.
Musk, never one to shy away from online sparring, has raised doubts (or eyebrows) on a video of Sam Altman while he was answering questions at the US Senate Judiciary subcommitte hearing on May 16 2023.
“Do you make a lot of money, do you?,” Altman was asked, to which he responded by saying, “No. I’m paid enough for health insurance. I have no equity in OpenAI.”
He also said, “I’m doing this because I love it.”
