Google has appointed Preeti Lobana to lead its India business. The successor to Sanjay Gupta, who transitioned to an elevated role as president of the Asia Pacific region at Google in July, comes when the company is facing mounting regulatory scrutiny across the globe.
Lobana, who was earlier vice-president of advertising technology at Google, has her work cut out: push artificial intelligence-powered products in India.
