Ray-Ban Meta glasses get smarter with live AI, live translate, and also Shazam

Meta has added three features to its Ray-Ban smart glasses, including live AI, live translation, and Shazam capabilities. In its latest update on December 16, users who signed up for the early access programme can now access these capabilities, and identify a song playing in the background directly on the smart glasses.

Among the three, live AI is the biggest upgrade. It adds video AI capabilities to the Ray-Ban Meta glasses, where the glasses can see what you see and answer any question related to it in real-time, which works very similarly to Google’s Project Astra, powered by Gemini 2.0.
