Outage over: Microsoft 365 web apps back online after almost 4 hours

Microsoft 365, the tech giant’s cloud-based subscription service that offers to productivity apps like Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel and others is currently down for many users around the world.

In a post on X, the Redmond-based company confirmed via the official Microsoft 365 Status handle that it is “investigating an issue where some users may be unable to access Microsoft 365 apps on the web.” Microsoft added that they are currently investigating to find out the “root cause” of the issue, so it may take some time before the service is back online.
