Amazon gets in ‘Tez’ mode to take on Blinkit, Swiggy, Zepto and BigBasket
Amazon India is reportedly accelerating its plans to enter the burgeoning quick commerce market in India. According to a report in Economic Times, Amazon India is racing to launch its quick commerce delivery service, codenamed Tez, by late December or early next year as it looks to join the booming sector. Codenamed “Tez,” the service is slated to launch by late December or early next year. This aggressive timeline marks a significant shift from the earlier projected launch in the first quarter of 2025. The company is expected to start the service with groceries and daily essentials.
