Microsoft takes on Nvidia, Intel, Google and Amazon with AI, security chips for data centres

Microsoft announced two new custom-designed chips aimed at boosting artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities and enhancing data security within its data centres. The announcement was made at the company’s Ignite conference 2024.
