Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt characterised Apple co-founder Steve Jobs as a “diva” who would bully people but whose difficult personality was outweighed by his brilliance and drive for perfection.
Speaking on “The Diary of A CEO” podcast, Schmidt praised Jobs’ leadership style despite its controversial aspects. “Opinionated and strong and argumentative and would bully people if he didn’t like them, but was brilliant,” Schmidt said of Jobs. “He wanted perfection, right? Aligning yourself with Steve Jobs is a good idea.”
