Microsoft is working on an Xbox handheld, but it has other priorities for now

Microsoft is working on an Xbox handheld gaming device, but the company’s priorities lie elsewhere for now, Gaming CEO Phil Spencer revealed. In an interview with Bloomberg, Spencer said while prototype development is underway, consumers shouldn’t expect to see the product for “a few years” as the company focuses on enhancing its Xbox app performance on existing devices.
Speaking to Bloomberg, Spencer acknowledged that the “expectation is that we would do something” in the portable gaming sphere, confirming long-running rumours of Xbox’s entry into handheld gaming.
