Senior BJP leader submits pliant to police over hacking of website
Senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Vijay Goel on Friday submitted a complaint to the Delhi Police regarding hacking of his official website by an online betting brand, stating that he or his family might also be physically attacked.
In the complaint copy, he said, “I wish to report a recent cyber offence in the form of hacking my official website and I suspect the same is being done by the Online betting brand ‘Piraslot’.”
He added he has recently called for the banning of online gaming which was joined by the former Governor of Assam Jagdish Mukhi, former Rajya Sabha MP Sonal Mansingh, former Delhi High Court judge Retd. Justice S N Dhingra and former Lok Sabha Secretary G C Malhotra.
