Bengal: Cyber cafe owner among 4 held in tablet fund diversion fraud

Four persons, including a cyber cafe owner, have been arrested in connection with the alleged tablet fund diversion fraud in which the money meant for tablets for school students was transferred by hacking into the West Bengal Education Department’s portal, the police said.

Those arrested are Hashem Ali, the cyber cafe owner from Baishnabnagar in Malda, Asharul Hossain of Ramganj in North Dinajpur, Saddik Hossain and Mobarak Hossain of Daspara in Chopra.
