ATC takes $1.2 bn hit in India exit deal with Brookfield

Kolkata: American Tower Corp (ATC) has informed the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that it suffered a $1.2 billion loss (about Rs 10,125 crore) on the recent sale of its India unit, ATC Telecom Infrastructure Pvt Ltd (ATC-TIPL), to Canadian asset manager Brookfield.
