That is a $7 billion increase from his previous peak of $221 billion, first achieved in July and matched again on Tuesday. The rise is attributed to an increase in Amazon’s stock. Majority of Bezos’ wealth is tied to Amazon’s stock. He holds more than 926 million shares, amounting to just under 9% of the company.
