Google uses AI to generate more than a quarter of its code, earns billions from it too

More than a quarter of all new code at Google is generated by artificial intelligence (AI), the search engine giant’s CEO Sundar Pichai said on the company’s third quarter 2024 earnings call, according to a report by The Verge.
