Apple exported nearly $6 billion worth of India-manufactured iPhones in the six months through September 2024, representing about a 30 percent increase from the previous year, as iPhone maker accelerates its manufacturing diversification away from China.
According to Bloomberg, three key suppliers – Foxconn Technology Group, Pegatron Corp., and Tata Electronics – are driving this expansion through their assembly operations in India. Foxconn’s Chennai facility leads production, accounting for approximately half of India’s iPhone exports.
